Ethereal Voyages: A Soul's Final Flight
When I die, where shall my soul take flight,
Through realms unknown, in endless night?
To wander stars, in silver streams,
To dance in whispers, woven dreams.
I yearn to sail on cosmic seas,
A drift of stardust, borne on breeze,
To touch the edges of the void,
Where galaxies in grace are buoyed.
Perhaps to rest in twilight’s hue,
A world where skies are ever blue,
Where moonlight bathes in soft caress,
A tranquil sea of timelessness.
Or shall I find a forest deep,
Where ancient spirits softly sleep,
Among the trees, with roots entwined,
In nature’s heart, my soul aligned.
To soar with eagles, high and free,
Above the mountains, over sea,
In boundless flight, unchained, unbound,
In purest silence, without sound.
Yet, if a place of peace be mine,
Let it be where love divine,
In every heart, in every eye,
Eternal warmth that never dies.
So when I pass beyond this frame,
To lands unknown, with no name,
Let my soul in wonder, roam,
In endless light, forever home.
